Bank & Personal Money Orders

Home State Bank offers Bank and Personal Money Orders to customers for a minimal fee. Money Orders are pre-paid checks and are often accepted in situations where personal checks are not. Personal money orders are quick, easy, and available for amounts $5,000 or less. Bank Money Orders are available for any amount.

Wire Transfers

Wire Transfers are a fast, accurate, and secure way to transfer funds between accounts by different people and entities. Individuals and businesses may use wire transfers to send or receive funds in the U.S. and abroad. Please contact Home State Bank to inquire about our wire transfer services and the fees associated.

Burial Trusts

Home State Bank offers Burial Trusts to set aside funds for the exclusive purpose of funeral expenses. This is an irrevocable trust of which Home State Bank is the trustee. Burial trusts can be an efficient and effective tool to help plan in advance for the unexpected costs of burial and funeral services. The funds are designated and payable to a funeral home. Burial Trusts may aid in long-term care planning. You will have the security of having burial funds set aside and the funds are deposited into a Home State Bank certificate of deposit. Coin Counting

We offer free coin counting to all our Home State Bank customers. Simply bring in your coins during business hours and our friendly staff will assist you.

Foreign Currency

Home State Bank can place an order for or exchange foreign currency. At this time, we are only able to exchange foreign bills/paper currency, not coins. Fees do apply.

Night Depository

Can't make it into the bank during normal business hours? Feel free to use our safe and secure night depository located on the side of the bank before the drive-up window.

Notary Services are available to our customers free of charge. It's quick and easy with no appointment necessary.

Safe Deposit Boxes

Savings Bonds

U.S. Savings Bonds can be redeemed at Home State Bank. There is no fee to redeem U.S. Savings Bonds. Paper savings bonds are no longer sold at financial institutions and must be purchased online at the Treasury Direct Website.

VISA Gift Cards

We all know how difficult shopping for gifts can be. With Visa gift cards from Home State Bank, you can give a gift card that can be used on whatever the recipient wants to purchase. Some fees do apply.

Reloadable Cards

Home State Bank now has an option for the customer who doesn’t have or can’t qualify for a traditional credit card. Reloadable cards are great for those customers with credit issues, college students, and even kids whose parents want to control their spending. Some fees do apply.
